Graduation Information

• Parking is available in the west parking lot. Please enter through the building's west doors.
  

• Doors open at 9:45 a.m. Graduates must check in for the procession lineup no later than 10:30 a.m.
  

• Photo opportunities will be available, including professional services provided by Bell Photography.
  

• During the graduation ceremony, you will receive your diploma cover. After the ceremony, your diploma and a graduation gift will be waiting for you at the concession booth outside the auditorium.
  

• There is no smoking/vaping on the Farmington High School campus.

Instructions for Graduation Attire

• Upon receipt of your graduation gown, remove it from the packaging and hang it up. To remove wrinkles, press your gown with a cool iron, use a steamer or hang your gown in a steamy room.
  

• School-awarded cords and medallions are to be worn with your gown. Items of religious or cultural significance may also be worn if approved by the principal before the day of graduation. This includes up to two flower leis. Caps may not be decorated. These guidelines are intended to help us celebrate student individuality, the unity of the class, and the distinguished nature of the graduation ceremony.
   

• Best dress is to be worn under your graduation gown, including shoes.
  

• Your tassel will be worn on the right side of your cap until the conclusion of the graduation ceremony. When instructed, you will move it to the left.

Final Credit - U's - Other Announcements

• All late work, credit recovery, and U make-up must be completed by 5 pm on Friday, May 16, 2025 in order to be part of our graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 22, 2025.
  

• All library books, laptops & cords, and hot spots must be returned, and all fees paid before you can pick up your graduation packet.

• U’s may be made up by attending Satellite, making Meals for U's, attending PTC's, or working with teachers.
  

• If you would like a yard sign announcing you are an MHS senior, fill out the Graduation Order Form before May 2, 2025.
   

• You are guaranteed 5 tickets per graduate. These tickets will be given out when you pick up your graduation packet. You may request extra tickets on the Graduation Order Form. 

Important Dates

May 7: School Play - Showtimes 6 - 7 - 8 pm - Seats must be booked in advanced (35-person capacity for each performance)

May 9: RETURN LIBRARY BOOKS - No books may be checked out after April 22. Library fines and fees for lost books must be paid by May 17.

May 14-15: Finals

May 14-16: DEVICE RETURN – Device turn-in for students who are finished with all coursework. Return devices, cords and hotspots to the Science Lab. 

May 15: AWARDS ASSEMBLY 2:19-3:20 PM

May 16: LAST FRIDAY - Friday Classes 8:20 - 10:25 am
Yearbook Distribution, School BBQ, Car Show 10:30 am - 12:20 pm
Last day to submit credit and make up U's.
FINES & FEES MUST BE PAID - Last day to clear any fines or fees in the office.

May 19: Senior Breakfast– 8:20 am - 9 am Yearbook signing, senior photo
9 am - 11:20 pm – MANDATORY graduation meeting, senior exit survey, and graduation packet distribution (caps and gowns, honor cords, etc.). Breakfast begins at 9 am.
Teachers Available for Consultation 1:00- 3:30 pm

May 20: SENIOR HIKE – with Dutch Oven Lunch – 8:20 am - 2 pm

May 21: Teacher/student consultation 8:20 am - 3:20 pm.

May 22: GRADUATION CEREMONY - Farmington High School Auditorium. Check in 9:45 - 10:30 am. Graduation starts at 11 am.

May 23: Staff professional day (No Students)
