PEAK Week at Mountain High kicked off the school year with energy, excitement, and plenty of Mountain pride! During the first five days of school, students were placed on teams and participated in activities designed to introduce them to everything that makes Mountain High special. They met key members of our school community, including the librarian, school nurse, administrators, and other staff who are here to support their success.
Students were also introduced to this year's school theme, PEAK. Perseverance, Effort, Accountability and Kindness. This was accomplished while building connections with their classmates through a variety of team-based challenges. These problem-solving activities encouraged collaboration, communication, and teamwork as students worked together to earn points for their teams.
Throughout the week, students enjoyed a school BBQ, celebrated achievements at a recognition assembly, and had numerous opportunities to get to know one another and the incredible staff members who make Mountain High such a great place to learn and grow.
PEAK Week was a tremendous success and set the stage for an outstanding year ahead. Go Mountain!
