The Hiking class meets each Friday during 9th and 10th periods throughout the school year to go on various hikes around Davis County and beyond.

WHEN

March 21-23, 2025 (Take off work!)

WHAT

During a weekend trip, MHS students will explore and learn in a cool Utah destination! By attending and participating, you can earn SCIENCE, HISTORY, PE and HEALTH credit. If you complete additional assignments, you can earn Math and English credit! (.125 credit in each subject)

WHO CAN GO?

Current MHS students who like to hike, can hike 6-10 miles in a day, and want to earn credit for doing it. Students must be in good academic standing and have no contract violations.

COST

$250 includes your hotel, transportation, and most meals/snacks. You will need to bring some money for 2 meals & souvenirs. NO REFUNDS!  Balance due 2/28/25.

REGISTRATION

Students who haven’t participated in previous trips have priority and can pay beginning January 7. All students can pay beginning January 14.

 In the front office, pay in full ($250) or pay half ($125) to hold your place. Then, show your receipt to Tomee, or Jaynie. You can also ask for the fee to be added to your MyDSD account and pay online.
