The Main Office will be closed on the following dates:

Summer School will be held June 1 - 25.
No School Monday, June 15 for Juneteenth. That will be a 3-day week. Last day is June 25. Edgenuity questions and support will need to be directed to the school you are enrolled in after that date.

School starts on Thursday, August 20, 2026.

Join Davis Reads 45 this summer! Students are challenged to read for 45 days, earning prizes every 5 days and a special end-of-summer event for those who complete the challenge. Pick up books during summer library hours. Families should check with their local elementary school for specific days and times. Regular summer reading helps prevent learning loss and supports continued academic growth. Contact your school or library to get started!

America is turning 250 — and our students have something to say.

Davis School District is hosting Voices of a Nation: Student Perspectives on 250 Years of America, a districtwide speaking event aligned with America 250 Utah.

Students from every school and grade level are invited to apply to deliver an original speech about America’s past, present or future.

Selected students will receive mentorship and take the stage on May 4, 2026, at the Davis Instructional Services Center in Layton. The event will be professionally produced and live streamed for the community.

You don’t have to be famous to have something worth saying.

Take the mic. Share your idea. Be part of the story.

All seniors should have a packet from Josten's with graduation ordering information. Below is also a link that can be used to go directly to the ordering page for the Cap and Gown. A tassel is included in the basic cap and gown package; you do not need to order anything else in order to walk at graduation on May 19th.

Attention SENIORS! It’s time to order graduation caps, gowns. and other Class of 2025 merchandise from Jostens! Orders are due February 14! Students will receive their caps, gowns and basic tassels at the senior breakfast on Monday, May 19. Other merchandise will be shipped directly to your homes for immediate delivery. Students will keep their caps and gowns after graduation. Head to the MHS Homepage and scroll to the bottom to find the links to order. Parent Teacher Conferences are next week, Tuesday, Sept 17 from 3:30- 7pm. Students can clear up to 4 U's at no cost by attending with a parent and checking out the clubs and activities available at our school. There will also be a free BBQ for students and their families from 5-6 pm. Hope to see you there!
